A Story of Friendship
Sabrina was a girl of 15 years old. She was a natural girl. However, everyone thought she was short-spoken, because she had never talked to other people, but she preferred to talk to her toys. Do you think it strange?
Emma was her best friend. She knew about Sabrina well and always comforted her like a elder sister. Actually Sabrina was lonely, as she lost her parents in an accident and became an orphan. Her parents left her many toys. She loved those toys since that and often talked to them more like talked with her parents. Sabrina was still happy, though the toys could not say anything.
Emma worried about Sabrina. One day, she persuaded Sabrina into talking to others as more as possible. “Nobody would like you if you don’t talk to them yet, even including me!” Emma said. “I don’t care” said Sabrina. “If you don’t like me, just leave me alone. I prefer to talk to my toys. Isn’t anything wrong?” Then she straight went away. Emma shouted at her: “Why are you so angry like this? I really hope you can have a better talk with other people but not only your toys.” Sabrina didn’t listen to her, and replied, “I never have friends like you”。 Emma was sad to hear that, and felt losing a good friend. But she still made sure to help Sabrina in overcoming her shortage. “You will understand my goodwill some day in future.”
Year by year, Sabrina and Emma were growing up, and became big girls. They finished school and started to look for a job. One day it happened that they met in a same company at the time of interview. They said Hello to each other. What a miracle! Maybe it was a luck that they met again. They talked a lot about their own past and now like old friends. Emma said, “I apologize for shouting you that day. But I did care about you in deed.” “It was me to apologize for that day, my words really hurted you” Sabrina replied. “Let’s become good friends again and forget all about the unhappy past”。 Emma answered. Sabrina was touched and held Emma’s hands tightly. “It is so kind of you! I didn’t think you might forgive my bad words on you, but you do.” “I have never and ever given up because you are my best friend as always” Emma said.
Sabrina and Emma now work in the same company and help each other in work. Their friendship is going fine all the way after many years. We can say, “Friendship is forever and powerful!”
