Away in the darkness
Beyond my little light,
The wind's three minstrels1

One comes fiddling2

And the trees sway to dancing

The second pipes and whistles4
To the open sky
And the stars dance twinkling
And the big clouds fly
And the third shakes the earth
With his organ boom5
And this old house dances
From room to room.
