罗伯特·弗洛斯特（1874—1963），美国著名诗人。其诗作多以乡村生活为题材，清新自然，富有哲理，在美国乃至世界范围内均广受欢迎。他曾四次获得普里策奖(Pulitzer)，并应邀在美国前总统肯尼迪的就职典礼上朗诵自己的作品，为美国历史上第一位受此殊荣的诗人。其主要作品有：《补墙》(Mending Wall)，《没有走过的路》(The Road Not Taken)，《雪夜林边小驻》(Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening)等。
