The Grand Hyatt Shanghai in Pudong, China, is the highest hotel in the world. It occupies the top 35 floors of the 88-storey Jin Mao Tower, the tallest building in China and the third tallest in the world. The hotel, which opened for business on 18 march 1999, offers spectacular views over the Bund and the adjacent Huang Pu River.
