This spring, Grandpa bought me two little goldfishes, he let me learn how to take care of them.
One goldfish is all red, except that there’s a bit of white on its tail. I named her Roxanne. Roxanne can swim really fast, just like the eels in the mud.
小荷作文网 www.zww.cn The other goldfish is mostly white, but its head is red. I call her Whitney. When Whitney swims, it looks like as if she was dancing.
I feed them every day. Sometimes I feed them noodles or bread crumbs. Sometimes I feed them black fish food that we bought. Once, I threw a grain of fish food, Whitney got the fish food but she ate it too quickly and she spat it out. The fish food got swallowed by Roxanne nearby.
Another time, I threw in bits of noodles, Roxanne and Whitney ate their food on each side of the fish tank.
Roxanne and Whitney enjoy chasing each other. Usually, Whitney’s at the front and Roxanne at the back chasing her. After a little while, they chased again, but this time, it’s Whitney chasing Roxanne. Sometimes they stay really close to one another. It looks that they are affectionate with each other.
I change their bowl water once a week. Each time I put the cup in the fishbowl, they both swim here and there, away from the cup. They probably think the cup is a fishing net. When my cup chases the goldfishes to a corner, they swim sideways over the cup, but eventually I successfully scoop them back in the cup. I quickly finish changing the water.
My goldfishes are so cute. When I’m tired. I sit next to my goldfishes and stare at them. They can always bring me happiness.
