This afternoon, my English teacher Miss Liu let me go to the fouth floor’s multi-media classroom. Because she wanted me to met Americans guests.
One American family came to our school, they have eight people: There are grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, three girls, and one boy. The older two girls are about 10 years old, the youngest girl maybe’s in kindergarden, the boy’s likely to be Grade 2.
小荷作文网 www.zww.cn We had a English class teached by the sixth grade English teacher with all the Americans, and our school's students and the American children perform. When the show is over, Miss Liu said that we can talk with the Americans now, and I ran to the Grandma and Grandpa in the family first.
“How old are you?” Grandpa asked me.
“I’m nearly nine years old, my birthday is the the last day of the year.”
“December 31st?”
“Yeah. I like my birthday because on that day, if we go to school. Our teacher would hold a New Year party.”
Then, they called the youngest girl here and she gave me an American coin. “Thanks,” I said.
I looked at the dollar. It also have a picture of someone at the head. I think it’s likely to be a president but I didn’t say so.
“Every state has a different coin,” said Grandpa.
I already wanted a pen pal from another country, so I wait in line to talk to the older girls, while waiting, I’ve heard a student in front of me asked one of them for their QQ number.
When it was my turn, I asked for their email, one of girl’s name is Ciara, the other’s name is Kate. Then I also gave them my email.
At last, I said goodbye to them, “Goodbye! Have a good time in Xi’an!”
I was very lucky, because I finally have pen pals.
