　　Description. 　
　　The distribution of students’ heights is unimodal, approximately symmetric. The typical student height is the mean, which is 62.55 inches. The standard deviation of the distribution is about 4.24. With a minimum height of 51 and a maximum value of 70, most data falls between the bins 60 – 62.5. There is a gap between 52.5 and 55. From the box plot, we could see there are 2 outliers. And according to the 1.5IQR rule, 1.5 (65-60.25) = 7.125. Lower fence is Q1- 7.125 = 53.125 which is higher than 51 and 52 inches.
