　　从前，太阳和月亮分享天空。太阳又温暖又明亮。 　

　　The Moon envied the Sun. The moon wanted to become bright like the Sun. 　

　　月亮很羡慕太阳，月亮想和太阳一样亮。 　

　　One day, the Moon discovered why the Sun was so bright. The Sun had a box of shining particles. 　

　　一天，月亮知道了为什么太阳很明亮：原来，太阳有一圈闪光的粒子。 　

　　But, the Moon was sad and worried. He did not have any shining particles. So, he went to borrow some from the Sun. 　

　　但月亮又悲哀又忧虑，他没有任何闪光的粒子。于是，他准备向太阳那儿借一些。 　

　　“Sun! Please, give me some of your shining particles.” 　

　　“太阳，请你把一些闪光的粒子给我。” 　

　　“No! I won’t.” The Moon became angry and thought, “When the Sun goes to sleep, I’ll steal some from him.” 　

　　“不，我不会给你的。” 　

　　月亮生气了，想：当太阳睡觉的时候，我从他那儿偷一些。 　

　　At the end of the day, the Sun fell asleep. The Moon took some of the shining particles. When the Sun woke up, he realized that some of his particles were missing. He was sure that the Moon had taken them. 　

　　一天结束时，太阳睡觉了。月亮偷了一些闪光的粒子。太阳醒来后，发现自己少了一些粒子，猜想一定是月亮拿走的。 　

　　The Sun got really angry. He thought, “I’ll find the Moon and get them back!” Then, he went to look for the Moon. 　

　　太阳很生气，自言自语地说：“我会找到月亮，把粒子要回来！”于是，他去找月亮。 　

　　The Moon knew that the Sun was looking for him. The Moon looked around the sky for the Sun. 　

　　月亮知道太阳会来找他的，所以，月亮张望天空，提防太阳。 　

　　Whenever the Moon isn’t sure where the Sun is, he exposes only a little of his face and looks around. 　

　　当月亮不知道太阳在哪儿时，他只露部分脸看周围。 　

　　When the Sun is gone, he shows himself completely. On the other hand, when the Sun shines, the Moon hides himself. 　

　　当太阳走了，月亮把自己的身体露出来。相反，太阳出来了，月亮会躲起来。 　

　　Tonight, look up into the night sky. See if the Moon shows his face or not! 　

　　今晚，看看天空，月亮有没有把脸露出来？
